Hello All,
I hope that someone can shed some light on my Kitchen woes.
I have just moved to a 1970's bungalow, all the wiring is PVC, it has a new Consumer Unit fitted which has been tested by a qualified sparky, as have the sockets. My question is about what seems to be an unconventional cable run in the Kitchen.
All works well nothing trips out, I've attached a diagram of the wiring layout. The wiring is behind plaster dabbed walls and has mechanical protection.
Would it be prudent to put an inspection cover over the ring main running down the wall so others will know its there???
Thanks in advance
Parrotboy
Ps the JB's behind the units are accesable and all connections are tight, the spur (green) socket feeds a extractor hood fitted with a 5amp fuse
