Labour Party Conference summary...

My view on it:

it is very popular with the exact age group - early fifties - who are at that point where they're predisposed to losing muscle. Chopping food intake is only going to make that worse. And decent muscle mass is a key indicator of longer life expectancy and better quality of life in later years.

I would not be at all surprised if there's a serious sting in the tail with this stuff, in the coming years.
Is there a difference to muscle retention if you eat it and poo it out (fat loss jab) or don't eat it (and burn fact and protein)

I'd expect it to be the same. Of course anyone who visits a gym will know that muscle burns calories, so more muscle = more food.

My understanding of the current weight loss jab - Munjaro (sic?) - is that you don't want to eat at all.
Certainly, the people who I know who are on it say it stops "food noise" (the inner chat saying "there's a bag of crisps in the cupboard!"-type stuff).

Completely different mechanism from the ones where you can't absorb fat (and, if you do eat it, it comes out in an "uncontrolled" manner ;-) )

The above based on my talking to those who are taking the stuff.

muscle retention

My point is that the age group are those whose declining testosterone means they are losing muscle anyway (unless they are actively working to maintain or build it).

The age-related muscle loss will only be accelerated if, not only are they not actively exercising to counter it, they're also in a significant calorie deficit through not eating as much in the first place.

And let's face it, the ones who are more drawn to the "quick fix weight loss" are the very ones who weren't in the gym in the first place.........

So they burn protein and fat in exactly the same way as a person dieting.

Weight loss without increased exercise normally results in the body burning both fat and protein. Its the protein we obviously want to retain.

100% and of course they will be more likely to gain weight with less muscle if they stop.

they will all have sore throats at shouting "RACIST" all day long, - I don't think they have done much else
'Pay hundreds of billions for foreign nationals to live off the state for ever, or Labour will call you racist.’ Zia Yusef.

Less than a trillion to support people "for ever": that sound like a bargain.

Or, just hysterical bowlogs from yet another fact-free Reform grifter (y)

All publicity is good public, I’m surprised they haven’t had more of a go at Lammi though
He's such a waffling loser, and we know why all know why he is in that position.

I refer you to my previous post to your fellow mate Notch, as you too believe money grows on trees, enough for everyone. If you haven't done the maths on this cost alone then you are not facing the facts.

Maybe also you haven't experienced these unpleasant large groups of imigrants in your town, not terrorised let alone made unpleasant comments to your wife/daughter/relative, they sneer and laugh knowing there's nothing you can do. Fact.

Maybe you are trapped at home unable to get out, and you just lapup this dreamworld idealism Labour peddle each day.

And yes i travel frequently across many countries towns cities Europe included, with contrast comes clarity.

Do you think regular exercise and a healthy balanced diet causes the same side effects?
I dont see the relevance of the question, you are framing as though its an either or option, its not

people who are mentally or physically able to exercise and have balanced diet, do so

Mountjaro is for people whose choice is being morbidly obese and type 2 or taking a tablet -I have heard phone ins where people say its a miracle and has given them back a life, it changes their relationship with food and some are able to give up the tablets

when a country is business driven, and yes i believe Reform are closer to this,
oh really?

Farage pushed brexit

how is that "business driven" eh, brexit massively increased trade barriers, so not business driven :ROFLMAO:

Why? Because we are not a country of welfare supporting the lazy
so you dont agree with Reform saying they would scrap the 2 child cap

Policies ignore cost, long term sustainability, or measurable return
you mean like water privatisation

When a country is run like a business eg driven by money and measurable results(like most business you and i have ever worked that are successful)
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Farage wants NHS to be insurance based system like Americna healthcare, which costs 2.5x more per capita and results are not better, just dearer

You've heard wrong: it is an injection for starters.

Also and in my experience, it is commonly being taken by people who are not willing to put in any graft / exercise any self-control, and they're paying for it via private prescriptions / online / "The woman who does my wife's botox gets them for me".

One is in a band, had a decent slot supporting a band who were big in the 90's, and "wanted to look good on stage".
