Hi there,

I have a Baxi Solo 18HE, it is leaking water, upon case removal it is dripping from the end of the venturi. Is this likely to be the heat exchanger? It was installed Jan 2012.

Just wondering about the fixed price repair from baxi, but would be a waste if it's something simple.

Thoughts / help appreciated :)

I expect so...are there lots of dry white watermarks on the rhs panel in the combustion chamber?

Thanks for your reply. I have opened the combustion chamber and here is a pic of inside (complete with dripping water as can be seen in the middle), I'm guessing this is bad news! So would it be sensible to go down the fixed price repair from Baxi direct do you think?

Cheers Ian. I had a feeling it was heading that way!! Thank you both for your help.
