Yes, semiconductors maybe. Europe has Covid pandemic like us, but do they have food shortages? Are they short of staff in many types of businesses and industries? Are their bins not being emptied? Are their pilots being grounded because of blind dogma, a certain PM refused the EU's offer to let The UK remain in the EASA so that pilots could keep their licences to fly into and over Europe?
It may be considered stupid if not suicidal to force through a Brexit built on lies with dangers for businesses, the economy, etc, etc during a pandemic. More mature and competent administrations may have taken a more pragmatic stance at a time of worldwide crisis.
It should be noted that because Northern Ireland is still in the single market, it averted it's shortages by sourcing lots of goods from Irish Republic (an EU member). A win for NI, a win for Ireland - another big hit to UK plc.
