Taliban are at the gates of Kabul waiting to enter from all sides.

The Afghans played the west spectacularly. The afghan army got their pay checks over 20 years, made nice money, a comfy living, and now when they have to stand and fight, the walk away, literally.

The Taliban will become the new government of Afghanistan within days.

China have already said they will recognise them..

This shows the West cannot do as it pleases militarily. Maybe this may end the wests obsession with wars against poorer nations, and hopefully now the UK and US can spend those billions and trillions of dollars on the infrastructure here in the UK and USA on roads, hospitals, doctors surgeries etc etc. Spend our tax money on us instead of p1ssing it away bombing other countries.

I wonder which countries were responsible for that chaos that led to a bunch called ISIS that made the Taliban look like moderates

End of the day this has shown the US and UK military to be gullible farces. They spent billions training the afghan forces thinking these guys would fight. Bs. Like they were really gona fight. They were in it for the money, a nice salary for 20 years. Who wouldnt take that lol

As soon as they were called to fight, they lay down their arms and walk away. The taliban have swept back in relatively easily.

And make no mistake, you cannot just sweep in as they have without widespread support from the population. The Afghan public largely support the Taliban.

America, lick your wounds and walk away. You got played by the Afghan security forces you trained up.

The puppet regime never controlled much outside the main cities. Once the Taliban who controlled 80% of rural afghanistan moved on the cities, they fell with little resistance.

Gringoes go home and end your wars. Uncle Sams army have been humiliated. No more wars. No more wasted lives.

apparently the Russians have an under standing or assurances from the taliban about the safety of there staff

Yep, the Russians were also apparently supplying arms to the Taliban.

Apparently the Chinese had been supplying the Taliban with unmarked surface to air missiles. The chinese also say they will recognise the Taliban government, which was pretty much a huge F You to the Americans

I think really dumb people are those that spout off on behalf of themselves and their family ……and then they and their family fail to carry out what they said they were going to do - basically state they have made arrangements and are going to leave the country and delete their account on the forum. I’d be so embarrassed if that was me but I suppose some on here are used to spouting off then clamming up when caught out - probably have a lifetime experience of it. They don’t half get the 'ump when reminded of it though. Usually they run and start crying to the mods to get the post removed and those that remind them of their claims banned from the thread. 3 - 2 - 1 …………….
