Hi all,
I have an 8m x 3m detached garage, its block and brick construction with open gables. It has a small loft within the pitch of the roof and at the far end is an external loft hatch - part decorative / part practical. The hatch has seen better days and i was up there at the weekend mucking about having a general survey and tidy. Whilst I was investigating the hatch i noticed that some of the blocks at the apex of the gable end either side of the hatch were loose, as in the mortar was no longer bonding them together. This isnt an obvious issue elsewhere, just around the hatch. I've attached a picture from the outside. Outer skin of bricks seems fine.
Can anyone please advise a practical way of bonding/fixing these back together? It's perhaps 8 blocks, 4 either side.
Cheers!
