Low battery fault on empty zone

My alarm keeps going off and saying it is zone 171 battery low, this zone is a spare so therefore doesn't have a battery! Can anyone tell me how I can stop this from happening? Can I permantely remove this zone? Our alarm guy was pretty rubbish so we no longer have a maintenance contract with him.

Alarm is a Risco gtag system with wireless expanders, I also have the engineer code to edit the settings if needed.

One rule with radio alarms, if one battery gives up the ghost replace them ALL

That's the thing though, it doesn't have a battery, it is a spare zone.
