M6 toll road saturday/sunday is it worth it?

Wow, that must add well in excess of 100 miles to the journey!

I'm sure it did, but we'd had enough.

OK, we did stop off briefly to visit the mother-in-law in Bradford!

Dont waste your money . If you stay on M6 free bit- you can view the delightful sights of the midlands . You can almost smell the 'tuareg campfires' as you drive past the beduins camped on the red area of the hard shoulder .

ill be around the M6 toll area around 12-1pm saturday (north bound ) and 6-7pm sunday (south bound),i would prefer to not pay the toll ,im guessing it will be busy on my journey back sunday on the M6??

Actually it could be busier northbound on the Sat with every man and his dog going to Ikea J9 plus the M5 coming onto the M6, southbound on the Sun won't be too bad as kids are back at school.
