Makerfield

Less "accused", more a case of him having proudly declared his misogyny.
Given the percentage of those RW thugs demonstrating in support of deform policies and candidate actions/posts agreeing, it appears that such views may be a requisite ;)

That's two squares on my lefty bingo card. Will I get to shout "house" if I actually read that garbage?
You should read the article and say whether it bothers you. The wacky ex torey who joined re form said it was an inappropriate but private comment. I had to laugh because it is the right wing media who specialise in digging up deleted social media accounts. It’s probably too late to disown him but re form are going to lose a few votes to re store over this.

My understanding is that he wasn't a paid politician at the time, so it's not in the public interest.

Anyone working for a private company or running a business takes money from someone every day.

It's all manufactured outrage, and it sounds like you've been taken in by it.
Yes your lack of understanding is splattered across this forum like a rash... the rules state that any payments in the 12 months prior to standing as a candidate MUST be declared - regardless.

I've said it before, nobody expects perfection from Reform. They're a messy bunch, doubtless a massive recruitment campaign is going to result in a few wrong uns getting in.

But people would much prefer to hear someone making edgy comments that head towards politically incorrect rather than the awful woke nonsense spouted by the old guard, 90% of which is prejudice against the native British population - calling them names, rubbishing or ignoring their beliefs etc.

Burnham's biggest concern about immigration is that the free housing given to them at our expense isn't of a high enough standard. He's utterly detached from the concerns of the UK native population. I'm pretty sure the sensible people of Makerfield will send him packing, I'm going to predict he'll get 20% of the votes, basically those on benefits only.

I'm not bothered by the Reform man's saucy comments, same as I am not bothered about Tommy Robinson's football yobbishness. Polite politicians have ruined this country. What is at stake is more important than whether you approve of a politician's personality.

Quite right. He was busy earning a living in the real world while the career politicians were at politician school, learning the fine art of spouting a load of words about nothing while offending nobody.

If anyone never says anything offensive to anyone then they're not speaking from the heart, they're just reciting calculated, choreographed waffle.
