If the shower I want has these requirements can I just check maths with you for combi sizing!
Assuming incoming mains @ 10 degrees
8l/60s x 42 degree rise x 4.2 joule = 23.52 (24kw)
10l/60s x 42 x 4.2 joule = 29.4 (30kw)
In colder temperature i.e incoming @ 2 degrees
8l/60s x 50 degree rise x 4.2 joule = 28kw
10l/60s x 50 x 4.2 joule = 35kw
Also;
If the mains incoming is 18l/min what is the proportion of hot to cold used at 40 degrees shower?
I am trying to figure if 30kw is fine for me....."best performance" I really hope that doesn't mean vaguely acceptable!
Water minimum flow rate
For best performance within the specified running pressure range a minimum flow of 8 litres per minute should be available to both inlets.
Water temperature requirements
Maximum hot water temperature: = 80°CRecommended maximum: = 65°CMinimum hot water temperature: = 52°CMaximum cold water temperature: = 20°CThe
