Most green building materials are on a reduced VAT rate or zero in some circumstances. There's laws that we kept under Brexit that blocks us unilaterally removing VAT on products.

There are no EU laws that prevent us reducing VAT on all eco - green products to zero VAT.

So as a result of Brexit we can now do what we like with VAT.If the world is boiling why the heck is the gov slapping any VAT on eco stuff, it should all be zero. There are some reductions but not for example- bigger rads to accommodate a heat pump or the labour involved.

Radiators are dual purpose, you use them for fossil fuel powered systems as well. So they'd be losing a lot of money for minimal benefit. It would be very inefficient.
