Mobile phone tariffs

I won't mention the cable box that my friend has which lets him receive all Sky movies and Sky Sports and Adult movies for free.

50 cross network minutes & 100 texts a month - free contract. ;)
They surely are not giving it to you for free?
I had them e-mail me it so I had it in writing.

Hi Gareth,

the details of your new contract are as follows:
- O2 50mins cross network, any time per month
- 100 text messages per month
- Free line rental for 12 months (Done by way of £300 credit on your account which will show within 28days)

hope that this covers all of the points that you needed to confirm
have a good weekend
Regards
Dean John

Cant vouch for your own contact gcol, but a lot of those free credit back schemes are notoriously full of pitfalls to trip you up and void the deal. If you have a good'un there though, well done!! you've trumped us all!!

I had a contract that expired in August. I called them to tell them that I no longer needed the contract and wanted to go back onto PAYG. They tried to get me on a cheaper tariff but I wasn't interested (I used to use the phone for business but packed in the business so didn't need the phone contract).
I got my phone through the carphone warehouse, they said that if they lose me as a contract customer, O2 charge them a fortune - so much so that it's in their interest to offer me a free contract for 12 months. :D
