Why is it that when I turn on my electric shower, the two R80 spots ( i know, shouldn't be in a batroom  ) dim then go brighter again?

Am thinking to install one of those combined spot/extractor units and one other appropriate spot later instead but need to know what problems to look out for.

due to the high power the shower uses. other lights in the house will most likely do the same

Is it an electric shower as in instant-heat, or electric as in electric pump, possibly supplied from the lighting circuit?

It's good that they dim.

You don't want to wake up the bats.
