Hi there.

Can anyone give me any tips on installing Rounded Ridge tiles to my new build please?

I've heard that its better to use sharp sand.

Can anyone confirm the mortar mix ratio and any additives?

How do you pack underneath the gaps/joins to ensure mortar doesn't drop endlessly onto the membrane below?

Do you build up the gap with broken tiles, or is there something disigned for this job?

Plus.....

I will also be fixing on the end tiles/verges, so if there are any tips here, i'd be glad to hear them.
(Under cloak board is already installed with a 50mm overhang.)

Many thanks

Go and buy some remix.
Your problem solved.

If you decide to knock it up yourself . A mix of soft and sharp.
The problem arises, there is sand and there is sand depending on area you are in.. some is crxp

Dry ridges and verges were created specifically for those who need to ask about mortar mixes - and many of those actually work as roofers!
