Mountain biking

Whyte make great bikes. I have several, 146 works, full carbon a 901 and a 905 none of them e-bikes. The bike in the link is basically a 901 / £900 bike with the rest going on the power. if you are finding a conventional MTB a bit slow or hard for long distances, I would suggest some slicker tyres, more air in the tyres, checking the seat is at the correct height.
Agree.
I have Michelin cross country gravel tyres on my bike atm, hopefully it will stay as dry as the past 4 weeks, otherwise the panaracer will get back on.

Are you saying gravel tyres will be as good for forests rough ground and fields? Yet faster on the the roads?

Yes.
When the ground is solid because it's not rained, I find gravel tyres the best option.
The Michelin cross country still grip very well but give you more speed on gravel and especially tarmac compared to classic offroad tyres.
Put it this way, on my usual ride I can average up to 2mph faster with gravel tyres than the mtb tyres.
In winter I use panaracer xc pro fire, very grippy, self cleaning and so far not a single puncture.
I fitted them on other 3 bikes I fixed for friends (if you go for them, get the folding tyres)
They're £20 each on offer at merlin cycles atm if you don't mind the colour.
No connection to them, but usually those tyres are more expensive.

Ebikes are for pussiess.
Real people push the pedals and enjoy the burning in the tights.
Not that you would ever experience something like that from your smelly armchair...
What a dickhead attitude. I've enjoyed both types of bikes, each has their advantages/disadvantages, you're obviously suffering from little man syndrome.

Thats you getting him back for suggesting your lazy and fat.

I hope there's no black ginger haired spotty men with a big bum and a large nose, posting on this chat.

6 foot x 16 stone...
I don't think so.
Thing is that mad bastards like me who enjoy sport and physical challenge, grow old without losing that wish to push the boundaries.

Very fat then.

Well I must say what a fantastic driving experience was my first short ride.

Going up a steep hill in Turbo was a dream.

Still putting in the hard work, it's just quicker and fees more rewarding.
