moving a boiler (not gas safe registered)

unless you particularly want to help move the boiler as a project I would just get a plumber to do the whole thing. If he cant move a boiler (especially a combi) to the other side of a wall in a day by himself you need a different plumber.
Its just if a pro does it any leaks spills etc are his concern and that way you will have no problem finding somebody to do and sign it off it as it will be all their own work.
Also I wouldnt imagine it would cost much more to have a plumber do the whole job, as they wont have to check what ever has already been done

If you do all the water pipework up to the new position and you make the flue hole then you should be able to find an installer to fit it for you for about £200-£400.
You only give us West Midlands, thats quite a wide area with varying prices.
