What is this? Water Meter? Confused as to why we would have one as our supply isnt metered?????

I now know why. Previous owener let the property out as a Holiday Let, hence metered supply.

I wish I had one so that i could monitor what water I consume, because evenbtually all properties will be metered, so we need to form good habbits now to conserve water, such as not flushing the loo for evry few drops of pee! Yup no kidding, i went to a relatrive's house and he asked me not to flush the loo if i am only going for a pee!

I doubt they could EVER try/dare and charge us for water up here in Scotland.
