National Homebuilding & Renovating Show NEC

Are these worth a visit as I have a development planned?
I did some building work in 2004-5 but not really since then.

I went to something similar at the London Excel and it was mostly marketing stalls selling some next generation product.. The seminars can be good though if you can find a seat and there's decent grub at those things usually. Probably worth having a look in for £20

Possibly.

I used to haul gear around the turn of the century for a bloke who exhibited at the NEC and the food was just about OK, but sky-high prices.

I went to the Ideal Home Show at the beginning of the month. I didn't rate it at all, it was full of JML products and loads of health & beauty stalls.

I'm going to the NEC today, tickets can be picked up for free if you look carefully. It looks promising, as there's quite a few suppliers I intend to use. Hopefully some show discounts too
