I have cracks running up the join between my stairs wall string and plasterboard.

I'd like to replace the beading at the top of the string with a slightly wider one to cover the cracks in plaster.

Does anyone know where I might get new beading? The staircase curves at the top which may mean this is difficult to replace.

I know you get the straight lengths of various beading and b and q and the like, but will these bend sufficiently to go over the curve?

So, you put on a beading to cover the gap, and then you'll eventually get another gap behind the new beading. It's the nature of stairs to vibrate as you go up and down them. rake out the gap to clean it, and use caulking, or flexible adhesive like CT1 that can be painted.
