NEW BOILER ON THE MARKET

ACV!!! It is clearly a rebadged Atmos. The heat exchanger is the same.
No! Atmos is a rebadged Intergas.

To quote form Atmos's web site:

In 2004 Atmos decided to look for a condensing instantaneous combi boiler. Once again, the ideal product was found in The Netherlands with Intergas Verwarming BV; and the highly successful Inter range of boilers was launched.

The link I gave was to the ACV site in Slovenia. Although ACV have a branch in the UK they do not show this boiler on their UK web-site.

So Atmos is the UK name who rebadge Intergas boilers. Now ACV are doing the same. ACV have decent stored water combi that is very good quality too. Probably rebadged as well as ACV specialise in stainless steel cylinders.

Great boilers!! I would not hesitate to fit one. If this Kompact can get decent sales and service around the country they should take off. Local authorities in Holland fit them because of their longevity and reliability.

Lifted straight from the Atmos web site.

Local authorities in the UK have fitted everything from Ferroli to Viessmann. Does that mean you would also fit a Ferroli in your house?

I actually read that in a trade mag.

Those who fitted the Ferroli did not fit it " because of their longevity and reliability". They fitted them because they are cheap to fit and to hell with the costs after.
