A month or two ago, our aged central heating system was updated including the provision of a new gas boiler. It was done by a reputable firm whose owner is Corgi registered etc.

I gather we should now have a building regulations safety certificate relating to the work. Can anyone please tell me what this looks like and how we go about getting one.

TIA

The installer should have notified CORGI who post you a blue Certificate.

They should also have filled in the Benchmark Certificate and left it with the boiler's documents.

You need to call them and "remind" them If they refuse you have to complain to CORGI and quote the firms registration number which should be on the Benchmark Certificate as well as probably on their invoice. ( They did give you an invoice didn't they? )

I hope he was not called Kevin !
