Hi All,

I am looking for a new combi drill for general use to replace one thats had enough. Looking around £100 or less, any recommendations?

Thanks.

Have a trawl through this section. There is plenty of suggestions for this most common of topics.

Bosch all the way for me after a bad experience with a couple of Makita drills. Screwfix have some cracking deals on at the moment, i Also like the Milwaukee M18 range but one of them combi drills is a starting price of £200 ish.

I was looking at that, Wickes have one for £115 with a tool kit. Was a bit put off by it not being Li-On.

I have been looking at the Screfix deals and like the look of the Bosch, although £99 seems a lot with only one battery and no case!

I've got the Hitachi on the back of the latest Screwfix catalogue (64945)....granted, batteries are only 1.5Ah (li-ion) but I've given the thing enormous grief for 2 years now.
Can't fault it!
John :)

Was in Screwfic earlier they had an 18v lion combi with 1x3.0ah and an L-box carry case for £149.99
They also have the new DeWalt Lion 18volt combi in £179 with 2 batts or £129 with just the one.
The new DeWalt was vey small and compact for an 18 volt combi.
