We are renovating a barn next to our farmhouse. We need to install a new connection but want to do as much of the work oursleves as possible. I do not want to have to pay Manweb to dig a hole and lay conduit. When we renovated the house we laid the Manweb supplied conduit and Manweb pulled through the cable. Is this still allowable and can I get other companies to connect the cable. Basically what is the cheapest way to do this. What can I do, what can other companies do an what do I need to get Manweb to do?

The cheapest way is to dig the trench yourself, lay the conduit and draw line, and get Manweb to connect the cable. Give them a call and they will open up a job for you, give you a price and will tell you the dimensions of the trench and the conduit.
