New Fridge

Our fridge freezer has reversed roles. The freezer is defrosting while the fridge is making our cucumbers very solid!

So, we are seeking a new one, but there is one snag. The width is restricted.

I only have three asks for this appliance:

(i) that it is no more than 54.5cm wide.

(ii) that it is as tall as possible, thus maximising storage.

(iii) that it is a well known brand.

I can find many appliances fulfilling each of those points individually, but none match all three.

Can anybody help, please?

Depends on the split you want ie larger fridge smaller freezer 50/50 etc,
Try and google this Bosch Logixx 2m Tall Frost Free Fridge Freezer ouch on the old pocket though

(i) It is 54cm wide

(ii) It is 178cm high.

(iii) It is the Hotpoint HMB313I and it gets 71% in the Which? review..

Thanks Col. I've found two suitable ones so far. The one you've linked to is one, though if anyone else reading this is in the market for a FF, Comet has the exact same model at £249.

The other is a Zanussi (Yuk) at JL, it is a bit smaller but its saving grace is a 2 yr wty.

Even if we hacked out a cupboard, there's a pillar supporting an RSJ in the way....

What about this Hoover Fridge Freezer - It is 190cm tall - massive if you have ever stood next to an appliance this size! and 54cm wide.

It get 4.6 out of 5 on customer reviews as well
