The lady I mentioned had a different idea. Maybe up to a dozen people, various dogs and say a 1/2 hr walk, Streets. It worked pretty well but not when the dog was in the car. Always other dogs about during training and advice as well. No controls just get on with it.I joined one of those,
One GS didn't like kids wearing hoodies etc. More normally dressed and usually ok. Suppose it's because they look different however a rescue so may be from experience.
One thing that struck me about AS is inbreeding but it crops up in all dogs at some point to try and preserve various things. The latest with AS is blue merles. Merles seem to be popping up in many breeds. Looks like the desire comes from the USA. I noticed that the kennel club appears to have a thing about blue merl AS depending on their ancestry - too many genetic problems if inbred. However, wanted, likely to be the most expensive so............. TBH I would avoid them but other breeds are being selected for the same gene. (; It seems there is one.
