All our Transits have slam locks but if the door is drilled in the right place the mech can be operated and door opened.
Do you always remember to lock the deadlocks?

No...... but mostly do.... its only the two back doors so Ill triple lock it..

I bought one for the driver door on my Peugeot Boxer but haven't got round to fitting it, in fact I haven't got a clue where it is other than in the garage somewhere. Got a steering wheel locking bar though, good visual deterrent.

Surely the handbrake comes on automatically when you stop/switch off?
