Fitting a new kitchen, and got to the worktop stage. Nervously set the router up to make my first cut on the brand new worktop - and the cut goes perectly - get to the end of the run, and proudly survey my work, then put the still spinning router flat down on the new worktop....aghhhh!!!!

so glad it wasnt just me whos done this.. I now have a nice marble square on my worktop (for doing the pastry on honestly)

whats worse is when it sends the router whizzing off ACROSS the worktop. my gouge was about 2 ft long
