Night vision issue

I have installed hikvision turret cameras and am very happy. Only issue is at night the night vision seems to light up the white wall near it and the area I want covered is dark. Anything I can do?

I had similar issues. best option was a PIR flood light. Even a low powered solar light makes a big difference, particularly since you need to be able to ID scallywags should you need to

Is that the turret with only 2 LEDs on? The options are like above add some form of light or change out the camera. I found the dome with LEDs surrounding the camera lighted up a dark area much better than the turret.

Be careful having cameras covering your neighbours property, particularly if you could view in his windows.

what model is the camera ? Is it TVI or IP ?

Your wall? Paint the it to reduce the brightness

model of camera may help as to what settings could be utilised. brining the camera off the wall a little may help as the IR is bouncing back. also you do need to privacy block out those windows.

As above. I had similar problems and by bringing the dome out a bit using a bracket sorted.
