Maybe there will be a motion, maybe there won't.

And the trigger threshold for a motion is way lower than that needed for her to lose a vote.

But here's a question - what if there is a VONC, and she does lose, and is replaced as leader of the party, but does not resign as PM?

Leadership of the party is in the gift of the party. PM is most definitely not. If she lost, and Labour did not go for a VONC in the government, who would sack her as PM?

If she lost, and Labour did go for a VONC in the government and that failed because the Tories and the DUP decided that an election was even less palatable than the EU leaving deal, who would sack her as PM?

Just wondering what scope there is for yet more self-destructive, self-indulgent mayhem.

I believe the process is that the Queen invites whoever she thinks can command the support of parliament, to form a government.
A task harder than ever these days.
Many might be willing to step up, but how many truly have the support of parliament?
And it would create further delay in government process.
If NI can manage without a government for a couple of years, why not UK?

Well the challenge is now on...

As usual with the tories, it's party/power before country!

The real problem is:
Which is the worst scenario: she wins or she loses?
Is she the best of all the worst options?

Well whatever happens, chances are that at some point we'll get a new unelected PM...
'Voted in' by a single political party for their own interests - so much for dumping the 'undemocratic EU'!

Stupidity got us into this mess, why can't it get us out of the mess?

And if she loses, what happens to the planned discussions with EU on Thursday?
She will no longer be truly the representative of UK.

One of the costs of Brexit, numerous cabinet ministers and two PMs?

Apparently the 'elite' are allowed to vote again and again, and possibly change their minds...
A luxury not afforded to the country atm!

I don't think that's the case... Its all about country first
Maybe you could tell us why that is?

And maybe also why you might think it a good process to have an unelected leader imposed on us?

Whats different with Labour?

answer: nothing; Corbyn is fence sitting as he cant commit to be either remain or leave in case it upsets his support. He is playing party politics.

He isnt a very convincing remainer, he has voted against the EU on many occasions over the years
