No handouts to tax dodgers

Which plan is that? There is no EU plan to counter off shore investments. All the other measures the EU are proposing are already met or exceeded by HMRC (They still are clueless though)
Ah, so 'fullfact' is allegedly right on EU tax law but wrong on the effects of brexit on the UK?
(it predicts a big hit and points out leave lies)

That's the funny thing about 'cherry picking' isn't it!

A 'reality check' it seems is needed!

As the article states HMRC rules exceed EU tax laws and have been in place since 2018

I don't understand the relevance of the rest of your comment.

I thought we were talking about income tax?

Avoiding the VAT threshold is something else. It is perfectly acceptable for instance, to have the customer pay for all the mateirals, to avoid hitting the VAT threshold. This advice was once given to me by a HMRC inspector.

See it how u like

VAT is 20%

The tax man got access to build g control certs

I. E every boiler installed has to be registered with building control

Numerous installers got caught out record's showed that they had Inststalled x amount of boilers ;)

When I was self employed I never employed an accountant

And never filled in a tax return

Used to walk into one of them tax help centres with a few sheets of paper with figures on and they did it for me

Helped if u acted thick ;) something I always had difficulty with ;)

Oh, the loan charge scheme? That was outlawed in July 2017... currently there's a bill to be put before parliament as HMRC wanted to make it retrospective back to 19 something or other, a Judical review said it should be only 5 years retrospective, however, parliament deems it unfair for HMRC to backdate taxation for anything it hadn't judged "illegal" HMRC don't know what they are doing.
Indeed this is another example of HMRC getting confused over what people should be paying in tax and what HMRC believe they 'deserve' to pay and then attempt to backdate their resentment er i mean their lack of clear legislation.

May I politely suggest you take off your blinkers!

Still don't understand, what was fullfacts take on "effects of brexit on the UK" not that that seems particularly relevant to this thread.

Rofllllĺ....you are either an idiot or a liar
Noseall an idiot, the man is proficient in grammar an obvious trait of a genius, one would say savant :D

A car dealer mate of mine got caught out years ago underclaiming his sales when they found out how many used car warranties he had sold which was far more than the number of cars he claimed to have sold!
