This is a similar post to that placed by a user. known as "Lard" on 10/02/06 on another Forum.
It relates to a really annoying noise when the boiler fires up. It is akin to the sound that is made when one runs a wet finger around the rim of a wine glass. I have had the original heat exchanged "Powerflushed" to no avail, and subsequently had it replaced. Only to have the perishing noise reoccur. The previous post had a reply that sounded promising, saying that the noise was caused by air being sucked in via a faulty case seal or flue or even missing plates in the combustion chamber.
Has anyone out there any other suggestions?
