Having lived North, Scotland, Middle, South and West in this country, you guys can keep the North and the West - the South has better weather

Cornwall is one of the wettest counties in England, so I beg to differ. The East is the driest. The North West I'll grant you is a bit grim weather wise. I have also lived/worked in the South East, South West, North West, North East and East Midlands.

I know Cornwall is rainy, (nicknamed the Wetcounty in our house when my parents retired there) that's why I said I prefer the South, not the South West.
