For the UK to stand firm against these European foreigners

Face them down and not be intimidated ;)

Send troops to the border in Gibralter that should send a message to Spain

Confiscate any French fishing boats in our waters ;)

All UK holiday makers at resorts confiscate all the deck chairs and deny the Germans access to them ;)

Just give HawkEye some guns and tell him to shoot anybody he sees who is not white, or has a "foreign" name, or a non-English accent.

Quite right!
What have the French ever given us?
We can say, en masse, that we are the creme de la creme, without risk of any double-entendre.
Even our Parliament gave them the word for, 'to talk', "parler".

We could sit down at the table, assuming we were all audible, and complain that they even stole our William the Conqueror and created a statue of him in Caen!
They're not so chic, with their bourgeoise attitude and joie de vivre, lets bundle'em into a car and ask the chauffeur to take them back to the depot, and en route, pick up a bouquet and wish them bon voyage. That'll be a coup de grace for them!

Why do you say he wasn't French?
I thought he was born in Falaise, France

Do try and be sensible

FYI - William the Conqueror was not French.

Normandy wasn't French until after 13 century, or thereabouts.
Normandy was linked more to Britain or Britannia (not to be confused with Bretagne) than to France.
So BAS is strictly correct.

But let's not allow facts to get in the way of a good story eh?

Ha ha, quick google hey?

Are you another person who assumes that if you don't now something then nobody else will either?

Camembert.
Over priced dry sparkling wine.
A big bill for making the EU move to Strasbourg every few weeks

C'est tout :ROFLMAO:
And lots of other cheeses, but you don't have to buy them. There are alternatives. After Brexit they may become more expensive.

Over £3.50 and then 20% VAT on top is added by UK to 1 liter bottles of sparkling wine.
So a bottle of plonk costing £10 becomes more than £16 by the time tax is added. I think it's unfair to blame the French for their high prices when more than 50% of the price is due to UK government.

How much does the cost of moving to Strasbourg cost you? About 30p per year? The cost of the ETIAS will now cost you £2.30 each year(excl the cost of an IDP at £5.50 plus per year). What a bargain! (assuming the EHIC continues to apply)

Definitely a bargain for the mathematical geniuses.
