If hospitals got rid of contract cleaners (which means anyone from the job centre working a day for a fix) and returned to direct employed who take a pride in quality work and clean properly with Carbolic, Dettol and bleach, alcohol rubs would not be necessary.
 
See what happens when they talk of putting minimum prices on alcohol. People start seeking out cheaper alternatives!!! :eek:

people who are on the dole are not all habitual druggies nor are people who do temp cleaning work.

Carbolic, dettol and bleach are not easy ways to clean your hands.
