My oil boiler in coming up for a service and an online mate of mine suggested I ask my engineer to use Dualex for the service as he said it may help save on my oil consumption as my boiler is quite old is this stuff any good.
Is it worth buying and giving it to the service engineer?

so basically.you take the baffles out. spray this stuff.put baffles back.fire boiler up.take baffles out if not yet clean enough,do it all over again
sod that ill stick to me brushes and vac.

I would just stick to brushes and a hover. At least you know all the crap is going to be gone in one go with brushes and you dont need to open and close the boiler many times with normal method.

So you preheat the boiler, remove the HOT baffles, then replace.
If really bad, then Expel C is a last resort without the messing about.
Brush and Henry can't be beaten.
