We went on holidays and turn off this Worcester 15/19 which is very old.

We came today and the red light is continously on and is not starting.

As it is very old I found no manual, but the new models.

Here I attach some pics.

Any solution guys?

Many thanks

Andrew

Is it the red light on the control box? Have you tried pushing it?
That is a very old burner and if the control box has failed, whilst it is possible to replace with a newer box, you may be halfway to the cost of a complete new burner.

Thank you very much for the answer,

I think that it is the red light on the control box but I am not sure.

How can I push this light? Do I have to remove the upper cover?

Here I attach a diagram that may be my model but I am also not sure.

Thank you again

As oilhead has said there will be a reset button on control box, that's the white ish lump on right of burner just push button.
That diagram is for a much later boiler.

looks like a BHO 11 control box or similar? Long obsolete.
A good replacement is the Satronic tf830 and with it's own base is pretty simple to set up.
I guess the lockout lamp is immersed in the insulation on the boiler right side - push it out of the way and it will be illuminated.
John :)

Hello guys,

We have found the solution. The reset button is located where I pointed out in the photo, in case anyone else experiences this.

I imagine that when the pilot light comes on, it’s because the diesel is somehow not reaching it, as there is a small leak and the burner cannot operate.

Anyway, thank you very much for your help.

Andrew
