Does time already served count toward the total ? or, is the counter reset ?

I would have thought it counted. I guess it would in the UK, but don't know their rules.

Heard on the radio time already done is counted so he could be out in 2. I don't think we've really heard the truth of this.

The evidence does not support guilty despite the fact people really love a witch hunt, I don't think he meant to do it at all.

I watched his recent interview he gave and it wasn't the tears he shed that changed my mind it was the facts surrounding his case. His brother/cousin (I forget which) was carjacked some years/months before. He lives in an area synonymous for violent crime. We are talking about an area (Johannesberg) post-aparheid, where a run of the mill criminal would not think twice about murdering you in the street for a few coins if he felt he could get away with it.

You'd think the blood curdling screams as he fired the first of FOUR shots through the locked door might have given him a clue that it was his girlfriend in there though wouldn't you?
You might also wonder why would the girl feel the need to lock the door in the first place, unless they'd just had a blazing row and he was threatening violence on her.
Well, I would wonder that anyway.
I said he should have got life, but what he really should have got was beaten to death with his false legs in the sh*thouse he killed that poor girl in.

He was is an arrogant **** who thought he was above the law. Should have been given life with a proviso that he serve a minimum of 99.9 years.

I'd possibly be in tears as well if I thought I was going to prison.

He was in tears at the thought of someone doing a runner.

Too many aspects of his version of events are just too far fetched to be true. I recall his reaction at the Olympics when he got beat by a bloke who's name escapes me. He looked like a nasty aggressive piece of work with a foul temper when he didn't get his own way. As said above, the girl locked the door, which she'd have no reason to do except try and protect herself from him. Unfortunately for her it was probably the thing that tipped him over the edge and got her shot. But anyway, whether he shot her deliberately or in a rage or whether he thought he was shooting an intruder is irrelevant, the fact is his action was extreme and was murder.

Well at least we won't have any more trials with those grating S.A voices. My Mrs. watched the trial - I had to leave the room - that horrible whingey "yes, My Lady" drove me mad.

If I hear anyone in the loo, the first thing I do is reach to see if the missus in in bed with me and not go and put a few rounds of ammo through the bathroom door and then ask.....
"oh, is that you in there dear".
Honestly, you are so gullible Hawkermoth.

Hawkeye.you are a dreamer.of course he murdered her.she used him to increase her street cred etc.then she binned him on valentines day.he thought f this and blew her away.no way in ten life times ,do you jump out of bed and start shooting..chances are its your misses in the loo.if life was so bad he could of moved anywhere in the world..he is sooooo guilty.6 years..a joke.
