hi guys what is it with the general discussion forum and jumping on every little spelling and punctuation mistake people make. is the general forum just for the perfect people?? because i recently add a light hearted question into a debate that was getting rather heated i think i said about the weather being hot and just got insulted pertty much because i could not spell perfectly or punctuate as well as others. the only person who kind of stood up for me was joe 90 to whom i say thank you.

Just ignore Micky. Really, he's not worth the time.

I decline to comment on your spelling and grammar, however. ;)

The general forum is where most of the folks who like to have a good argument over just about anything hang out & it seems the more insulting or belittling it gets, the better. It’s a bit like school playground arguments & fights although I’m not sure “kids” are allowed to have them anymore! It’s what floats their boat & that’s fine if they all enjoy it but it’s the main reason I rarely post there. It’s what you should expect if you venture there & it sometimes spills over onto other forums, usually when General gets a bit too quiet or if the other forums appear to need a bit of a "boost" but, thankfully, not that often. Best not to worry about it really, just leave them to it. ;)
