Hello all,

I got one if these

It's a battery operated sensor light I put above my front door so when I or anyone stands at the front door it will go off. However no matter which direction I put it in it goes off when someone walks down the street or a car goes past (I am assuming due to the light from the car reflecting on the front door). I've tried every single angle you can imagine and every time someone walks past in the street it goes off. Can anyone please give me some advice or even a alternative product which will not do this.

Thanks all in advance

I stick a bit of black insulation tape over part of the sensor, you need to experiment a bit to get it right.
