Actually if you read the article, it seems that she as not the one being a drama queen.

Seems she did in fact not have a seat for the majority of her journey, and her comment was that the train was overcrowded was to show that many people are actually taking the train which is in her opinion a good thing.
 
Yeah take a journey on an over crowded train

catch some virus from the person pushed up against you breathing all over you

get a blood clot from. Standing in a cramped position for hours

all to save the planet

I do take public transport when possible, well served by buses and with the oyster card you can take a couple of buses for only 1 fare if they are within the hour. Trains are relaxing, but not financially viable, especially if there is more than one of you travelling together.
