Hi All
I am about to replace a WC and this old Ideal Standard has a unusual built in pan connector. ( swan neck style)
Does the connector in image 3 look about the best to replace it with ?

thanks

Only thing you can do is try and see, if it doesn't work the other options are use a flexi, (not ideal), rejig the soil pipe, or bring the new pan forward.

And change those awful tiles while you're at it... In fact rip it all out and start over

Thanks, I,ll probably bring forward, if I have to shorten the plastic soil pipe going into the vertical soil pipe what's the best way to cut it?

Well at least the tiles matched the bog.

Cut the plastic pipe with a fine tooth saw. Take your time, the plastic becomes more brittle over time, you want to cut it, not shatter it!
