Anyone Caught entering the UK illegally should be sent back to the first country they entered and then apply for asylum to the UK.

That requires the cooperation of the country you intend to send them back to.
How do you prove where is the first country they entered?

The blame lies with the illegals themselves. If they didn't create the demand for passage across the English Channel to the UK, the people smugglers wouldn't exist.

They should no longer have refugee status once they travel through several safe European countries to reach Calais and, ultimately, the UK. They are simply economic migrants.
