Appelflap is a typical Dutch pastry pie, very sweet (which I'm NOT , well not most of the time, so it's more the 'overstatement' of the year)

Pipo is a character from a very old Dutch childrens tv-program, a clown sometimes smart, sometimes very stupid (which suits my hubby exactly)
