Piano hinges

I need to use some piano hinges for my smallish mdf openings for our storage cupboards.

tool station sell them my the 1m length. So i will need to cut them down.

Do you know if the hinges can be cut down ok? I need them at about 600mm lengths.

Do you just hack saw them down ? Or could i use my small angle grinder ?
