Picture of the almost mid-week!™

Well Lectrician; I don't care what the winging girlies say.

I think the pics of the week are great and help me focus on what 'faults' and 'non-compliance possibilities there are/ could be.

After all this is part of the skills required to be a good inspector and tester, which is what i intend to be.

Do you mind if I take this one in to college this evening to try on the rest of the lads, I KNOW they will appreciate these things.

Your apprentice better appreciate what you're giving him, coz, if he don't then I will gladly fill his shoes

Just out of interest softus, do you know where and what that building is....?
See http://ivycreekfoundation.org/barnguide.html

In this image you can just make out the architrave switch. :D

I know the problem with your barn softus.. there's no stairs up to the second and third floor fire escapes on the front..

but apart from that very obvious fault thats not the only one, what about the mouse pointer on the lawn surely i get a point for that

I cant see a mouse pointer

I thought it was a fairly obvious fault for you guys to guess! I did say fault, and not 'non-compliance'.

The switches are in holiday challets.

As far as I know, these switches have been in for atleast 8yrs. No complaints up until now. It was actually me that got the first shock - I lent on the pillar to take my shoes off before going onto new carpet.....The painter on site heard me talking at lunch, and then said he has had a belt a couple of times when painting the frames! He said he thought nothing of it! I am guessing either no customer recieved a shock, of they where nieve like the painter.

Shocking really - been like it all that time. I went along to the couple challets next door, and they where the same, so got my apprentice to check the rest. We were only there fitting room stats in each challet for myson heaters.

I win the most points then for getting the chalet bit right 8)

It was a holiday challet - a bit like a challot, but tastier.

Common softus - If I posted a pic with the cover off and hole in the cable, would there be a point to the quick 'guessing game'?

Like I said, it was a quick pic posted quickly for a little amusement. Dont take things so seriously!

Thank you for that information Softus, most interesting.

I'm always taking pictures of unusual buildings/architecture when on holiday..........
