Indeed. I would never have guessed that either the conductors or gland were as large as we've being told (to the extent that I was wondering why the person who did it had used a bit of a Henly as a connector). Maybe RF should include a ruler in some of his pics!

Isn't the recommended way of dealing with switchgear containing asbestos flash guards to leave the fuse carriers in place, cut the conductors as close as possible, give it a good soaking of PVA solution and then to remove the equipment as a whole and double bag?....
