We are planning moving kitchen from an ajacent room. The existing cooker point is supplied by a 6mm wire which can very easily be re-routed to the new location.
Question I have is, we are thinking of using an Ikea Raffinerad oven http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00245168/ which needs to be installed by an electrician, an EXEMPLARISK combi-microwave http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/70244801/ which requires a 13a fuse & a Masterlig Induction hob with booster http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/80222827/ , which also needs to be hard wired.
I've had 2 quotes one guy said we'll be able to use the re-routed 6mm oven cable and existing ring main whilst the other guy wants to install 2 new cables at unafordable expense.
Sadly our favorite 'sparks' is no longer with us to guide me so your knowledge will be really appreciated.

Existing cable could be used for all 3 items. or microwave could probably be plugged in to a socket outlet, with the oven and hob on the cooker circuit.
Either way, new circuits not required.

The 6mm will be fine for your hob.

Technically you can put both the other appliances on your ring final, as they both require a 13a fuse, I would like to see them on separate points on the ring though, not on a twin socket together.

Thank you so much for your help, I thought the chap that told us it would be ok and he'd be happy to do it was genuine It's reassuring to have it confirmed.
