Hi

Just replaced a radiator and valve, for which it was necessary to drain the system. Refilled the system somewhat slowly, turned on boiler and nothing happened. Green light for mains on, timer over-ridden, but pilot or fan not running.

Any ideas please

Ray

Did you turn off the boiler before draining?

If not the O/H stat may have tripped.

I did not think they have a LP water switch but if it has this may be blocked or slow to respond.

Thanks for the info Tony, any advise as to where I can locate the O/H stat

Behind the top front panel there are two, on near the fan and one on the left hand side amongst all the electrics.

May I ask how you topped up the system again ? I am wanting to remove a radiator for decorating and cant see any filling loop or pressure gauge on the boiler. I have even taken off the front panel hoping there would be somethign inside, but I cant see anything. I have no install, operating or maintenance instructions

Is it a pressurized powermax or one fed from a tank in the loft?

I am assuming it is a pressurised one as I cannot see any tanks in the loft space.
