powertool battery level indicator----------------lights

this ryobi for 4w gives you 500lumins or about a 40w equivilent so half that would be more than enough

I recently got this one

Its 1000 lumens (100x lightbulb equivalent) multi directional, and its really bright for any work in dark rooms or on these darker afternoons, or for bench work. I thought it would not be bright enough, but its more useful than the 2k and 3k lumen spots I usually use.

thanks but stop tempting me i already have several ryobi work lights giving outputs between 15-3000 lumin:D

You treat yourself. You've earnt it.
it sort off gets to the point where you think like a collector and go for the full set i already have 6 different ones if thats not nuts the full set will be:unsure:

I know

I am seriously trying to rationalise now and not "collect"

I remember many moons ago when I would rock up to a job, with one tool box in my boot and a drill. Nowadays, the same job needs my van, a large hand tool box, various crates with "accessories" and several power tool boxes - after a time selecting which boxes to take and which to leave at home. Bloody nightmare.

i have been rationalizing for ages ----- not so much tools but boxes off screws solo clamps sash clamps record "G" clamps 6-14" clamping i dont need a hundred boxes off screws 60 solo/g clamps any more or 20 sash clamps just half or 1/3 for the quiet potter jobs i do now :giggle:

I have about 15 different flash lights, it was getting to the point that every time CREE brought out a new chip, I was looking for a reason to buy an upgrade. For single cell lights, anything with a CREE XP-L or XM-L2 with an orange peel reflector is pretty handy. Nowadays you can get them with built in USB chargers so all you have to find is a decent source of cells.
