Decided to get a pressure washer, mainly for washing the car and van. Nothing too expensive, but presumably with adjustable pressure so I don't blow the paint off. Suppose it will also need a foam lance, maybe purchased as an extra.

So, the brief - not too expensive, adjustable pressure, good length of hose for van. Any recommendations please?

The Ferrex one at Aldi this week appeals to the cheapskate in me.

I've got an Aldi one, it works fine. I use it for the car and the monoblock driveway. Let's face it, all they have to do is pump water through a jet.

For another twenty squid, you could get a karcher k2 or k3 (there are regular promotions on them).

And I suspect they'll have fewer attachment compatibility issues.

Regardless, I recommend a stubby gun. FleaBay do reasonable ones for under £20.

Got mine from Aldi. It has all the features you mention and works well.

Thanks for your replies. Is it possible to get accessories to fit the Aldi washers? Paricularly a snow foam lance/nozzle?

Thanks. Yes, guessing may be a bit limited with accessories for Ferrex washers. The Karchers have 6m hoses whetreas the Ferrex has 10M. Will the 6M be enough for a (Scudo) van?

The K3 modular seems to be a good price with all the bits you need.

I have the k3, and the 6m hose is just long enough for my ev6.
But, again, you can get 10m hoses from fleabay for a tenner.
I got a stubby gun too - much easier to use - but I already had the karcher foam bottle.

Just found this site.

Karcher have an outlet for refurbs/customer returns that they sell at roughly half price. I got one and it was stil perfect with warranty
